The question usually means the phone game. I separated that from the paper game on purpose. A Wayback copy of an MSPoweruser article quotes the shutdown schedule. Cryptozoic's own product page and the Card Wars 2025 Kickstarter are the evidence that paper cards continued.
The app
- Android release cited by Whatoplay: 28 February 2014. Cartoon Network. In-app purchases. Status later set to discontinued.
- 16 December 2019: in-app purchases stopped.
- 19 December 2019: removed from the App Store and Google Play.
- 28 January 2020: servers closed. Card Wars Kingdom closed with it.
The cards you can still read about
Ultimate Collection, on Cryptozoic's US store at check time: US$119.99, 20 reviews, 12 hero cards, 480 standard cards, 48 landscape tiles, 8 frozen tokens, HP tokens, a rulebook, and a clarification booklet. The 2025 Kickstarter's last update noted on the campaign was 25 September 2026, and the page pointed at a further Card Wars 2026 project. I am not treating a coming-soon line as a live pledge.
The 5E roleplaying game includes a Card Wars module called Floop the Pig. That booklet is not the Ultimate Collection and not the dead app.
